Recognition, whether it’s for small wins or significant milestones, helps create meaningful connections and a sense of belonging. Given how much of our lives we spend working, we want every Rubrikan to feel seen, valued, and inspired to unleash their full potential.
We take a holistic approach to recognition—one that goes beyond compensation. While financial rewards matter, we place equal value on experiences, connection, and personal growth.
Milestones that matter
We’re committed to helping our Rubrikans grow professionally and stay inspired throughout their journey with us. Our Rubrikversary programme celebrates one, three, five, eight, and ten-year anniversaries, each tailored to reflect the significance of that milestone.
A highlight is the eight-year Rubrikversary Recharge, a six-week extended time away for Rubrikans to disconnect, recharge and pursue personal passions. Whether travelling, visiting family, or simply taking time to rest, this break gives people space to reflect and return energised. When these employees return to work, we notice their renewed energy spreads across entire teams, creating a more positive work environment for everyone.
This year, we’ve also introduced a ten-year milestone gift, allowing employees to redeem points against a global catalogue for an experience of their choice. Whether that’s a trip or something more personal, we believe these memories last longer than just receiving a financial reward.

Recognising everyday impact
Recognition at Rubrik is rooted in our belief that when we lift each other, extraordinary outcomes are possible. Our “Shout Out Community” and peer-led recognition toolkit make it easy for Rubrikans to celebrate each other across Slack, internal comms, and team spaces. These consistent acknowledgements lift spirits, reinforce our RIVET values, and highlight how each person’s unique strengths fuel our collective progress.
Our peer-nominated RIVET Awards, named after our core values of Relentlessness, Integrity, Velocity, Excellence, and Transparency, honour exceptional contributions across the company twice a year. Winners receive a Tango gift card— convertible into points for an experience—but we also share every nomination with the wider business community. Even those who don’t win get visibility into the impact they’ve had.
Individual teams also run tailored recognition programmes to spotlight excellence, such as the President’s Club in Sales and the Engineering Patent Award, which celebrates innovation.
Connection that builds culture
Social connection is critical to collaboration and trust, especially in distributed teams. To support this, we host regular events and celebrations that bring Rubrikans together beyond the virtual workspace. In the UK, that includes everything from rooftop end-of-quarter parties to canoeing in the New Forest, darts nights, cooking classes, and annual cricket matches.
For us, recognition-monetary or otherwise-is about more than rewards. When Rubrikans are empowered, appreciated, and inspired to do their best work, we all grow stronger—and that’s the true foundation of our success.
